I bought this for my wife, who plays Sims4. It works great for that. I built her previous two gaming computers and was going to do the same this time. But after I added up the cost of the parts I was going to buy, it made more sense to get this with essentially the same components I was going to use. Even after adding another 8GB RAM to get up to my specs, it still cost less than building one myself. And the Black Friday deal I found made it much less. Ideally, Acer would include a pair of 8GB RAM sticks, but thats the easiest and cheapest thing to add for improved performance. Even before adding that, it works great for Sims. I was a bit concerned about the design of the case being not so great for ventilation, but temps have been fine. If you are planning to play something thats more of a resource hog, you might have problems, but Sims doesnt need all that much. For what it is, this is a nice PC.
