My husband and I got this for his big Christmas present. He loves it and has been on it since before Christmas everyday I asked him how does he like it and he says it runs great for the games he plays. Not sure what games but they cost money lol

Is a fine computer , is not the best but is good enough.

Just opened it and got it setup, but so far I like it. Acer is a good company, especially for the price. I cannot wait to start gaming on here!!

Im generally very pleased by this laptop but there are a few issues worth mentioning:

It didn’t charge

I bought this laptop when Amazon gave it a monthly payment option at the time.

Make sure that you push the charger cord in the back of the computer until you hear a click or it won’t charge.

Me and my husband decided to get this laptop as he needed a more powerful PC for his old Macbook used for web development and programming and I wanted to have something that we could use to game with on the go. None of us have bought a new laptop in many many years, let alone a gaming laptop vs a business oriented laptop or budget/lightweight laptop. This seemed like a great compromise between new tech/hardware, easily upgradable in terms of ram, and something that wasn’t super super flashy or expensive. We’ve never had a PC with some of this hardware on it but we both were familiar with it in any case. We both spent the last two months with it to get an idea of the feel for this laptop in different use cases and so on.

This lap top is junk do not buy. I’ve had this nitro 5 for 1 year and the mother board is toast. Tried to contact acer and they told me it was out of warranty. This lap top maybe had a weeks worth of use and it’s already junk. Don’t go cheap buy American
