I recently ordered the Acer Nitro 17 Gaming Laptop and let me tell you, this machine is an absolute beast! From its impressive specifications to its stunning display, it has exceeded all my expectations. First of all, this laptop is built for power, not for portability. To that end, this is definitely on the heavier side, partially because of the size of the screen and the components. This laptop prioritizes cooling of the components over streamlining. The screen does not flip over, and the power port is on the back.

Has everything it should, except it came with Windows 11, not 10, a huge kick in the gut

This thing is a work horse and can handle anything you throw at it. Its almost as powerful as my $4k PC!!

Its my first gaming laptop and is awesome. The screen quality is perfect, 144hz are amazing. Ryzen 7 5800H is so fast, rtx 3060 is perfect for all games in 1080p. Temps are ok. RGB keyboard is nice, sound is loud and clear. I love this laptop.

So I spent 1500 on this. 2 days into owning it. I havent gotten 2 use it yet due to a death in the family so when I set up windows. I installed cod just to pull it up to see the picture quality, and I noticed a red line down the screen and a Grey line going across the bottom. Havent touched it since dealing with the death. So today I woke it from a sleep and typed in pin and when it went into windows. The screen started flashing Grey like a no signal..

I tend to stay with laptops that you can take appart easily. This way you can do maintenance on it, or do upgrades. This laptop is just what I wanted a good upgrade from my Predior Helios 300 bought 4 years ago. I definately enjoy the Acer brand always a good buy.
