> 3 dayPurchased this as a work computer to use with zbrush modeling software and it was quickly confiscated by my son. lol. His desktop was getting dated and the fact that this laptop seems to have a more current CPU, GPU and such really got him excited. Once he tried it he fell in love and all the current games are playing for him at full graphical settings. Set it up with an accompanying Acer Predator gaming monitor and it runs even better. Very happy with the purchase and quality of the setup.

> 3 dayThis Acer laptop is awesome. I own several Acer gaming laptops and this product adds to my arsenal. It has a wide screen with awesome colors. The solid state hard drive is massive and has plenty of punch for multitasking purposes. The laptop is highly responsive and fast and doesn’t even blink an eye when loading or putting it through heavy usage. Set up was simple enough and as usual lots of updates were required to be downloaded (which is normal) during any setup of a new device. I did not encounter any hiccups just smooth installation! The laptop doesn’t run hot even during heavy usage. The product is heavier than my other Acer laptops but this baby has a much larger screen to view. The keyboard is laid out properly and is very responsive and it has decent speakers to boot. I have played some games on it without any tearing or slowdown. . Boot up time is pretty fast and so far I’m very happy to recommend this product. This product is a great choice for those looking for a nice gaming product. Buy one and be happy!

Greater than one weekBeautiful, large laptop. Was so excited. Charged it up, powered it on and within the first ten minutes or less, it restarted without prompting. Thankfully I wasnt working on anything that needed saving. I attempted to download Steam and run a game. Within another ten minutes it restarted again from it obviously powering off without any prompting. Cant use a gaming laptop if you cant even work on Microsoft Word or a video game without worrying its going to shut down immediately. In the three hours I owned it, it powered down six more times. I packed it back up and called Amazon, which was another nightmare. They wanted to give me the run around about UPS pickup rather than shipping from store. I have a full time job and live alone. There is no one to be there to meet at a time that I couldnt even schedule. Id be at the mercy of UPS on when they wanted to arrive. I had it packed up and ready to ship. Finally after a very frustrating few phone calls between Amazon and UPS they sent me the shipping label as they should have done all along . Now Im sitting here fearful that theyre going to try to pull some other stunt on Amazons end not to refund me almost $1200 of my hard earned dollars for this junk that doesnt even work. Buy your technology from another source than Amazon, folks. This has been and continues to be a nightmare.

> 3 dayI specifically bought a Windows 10 machine, and it was shipped with Windows 11.... aside from that it arrived on time and appears to be as advertised

11-11-2024So I spent 1500 on this. 2 days into owning it. I havent gotten 2 use it yet due to a death in the family so when I set up windows. I installed cod just to pull it up to see the picture quality, and I noticed a red line down the screen and a Grey line going across the bottom. Havent touched it since dealing with the death. So today I woke it from a sleep and typed in pin and when it went into windows. The screen started flashing Grey like a no signal..

> 3 daySuch a nice little rig. We dont really need the high refresh rate panel, but the MODERN Ryzen 7 and brand-new RTX 4050 are greatly appreciated. With laptops we prefer to not replace them often since they only do menial work, and this is replacing an old Lenovo with a 4th gen i7. It has been hard finding a reasonably priced 17 inch laptop with worthwhile specs and so far this is handling the job great. I have heard negative things about the Nitro line, but so far I have nothing negative to report. Havent tested it for gaming since it wont be used for that, but I may give it a try eventually in Cyberpunk to see how well the 4050 handle the frame-generation tech.

> 3 dayPlugged in the adapter and pressed the power button. Nothing. Total DOA. This is not one of those things. Its a total lack of quality control. Before you put it in the box. Push the button and turn it on. I worked in IT for ten years and after hundreds of units ordered I never had a DOA Apple or Dell.
