> 3 dayFor starters, I only write reviews if something blows my mind - whether good or bad. This is the latter. I work in tech and have a very large event every year for 2 weeks which requires a moderate volume of data transfer from SD/USB drives to an external hard drive and cloud. Basically, three times I day I have to sit down and copy an average of 50 mp4 files from an SD card to my Lacie drive and Dropbox. I wanted an additional computer (this one) to tap in remotely to control from my MacBook Pro, which works well but a second computer is necessary if I dont want to give up my MacBook for solely those tasks multiple times a day. I did tons of research to find something that was simple yet fast, ideally an all in one for size. This Acer seemed great on paper so after weeks of comparing, I bought it.

> 3 dayFull disclosure, I do not know PCs well when it comes to gaming capacity, so when I get this PC, I was excited to finally be able to play games that my Nintendo Switch wouldnt allow me to play, because they were too graphics intense: Madden and Formula 1 racing. Imagine my disappointment when I ran the specs on Can You Run It and saw that EVERY facet of this computer was more than the recommended, EXCEPT for dedicated VRAM, where it was painfully lacking. 128mb dedicated VRAM for games that required 2048 and 4096 mb VRAM respectively. Ouch.

14-11-2024We were skeptical about getting an All-in-one PC. This PC packs a punch!!! Its Great - We are 2 months in so far. We also bought an extended 3 year warranty from Acer for $90. Definitely worth getting!!!

> 3 dayHeres my situation: I like to watch TV in the kitchen while Im cooking (streaming video via a Fire stick). I thought I could replace the TV with this thin desktop, so that I could still do all my streaming but also have a computer the family could use.

> 3 dayI was so excited to buy this for my virtual class. I set it up a few days before and the morning of the 1st class I made sure everything was working fine. Tested the audio and microphone.

> 3 dayIve been using this all-in-one computer for a few weeks now and have found it to be a very practical and powerful desktop workstation. I use mine primarily for doing graphic design and art with a variety of applications, and this computer provides ample power for all of it. Photoshop and Illustrator both work remarkably well! The monitor is big and clear, with excellent color and detail and the angle is easy to adjust for optimal viewing. The onboard webcam works well and provides clear imaging even with restrictive lighting, and the is a slide-over cover for privacy when needed! Internet works flawlessly, taking full advantage of my ISPs power. There is a nice variety of ports for peripherals, including USB 3, USB 2, ethernet, and HDMI - I use the HDMI port to extend my screen onto a drawing tablet, which works seamlessly. The provided wireless keyboard and mouse work well, although they are pretty basic.

> 3 dayI was in the market for a new PC since I had one that needed replacing so I was glad to have the opportunity to receive this Acer for review. My first impression is that this is a great desktop for the price.
