All the useful features are locked out! After I FINALLY got into the BIOS setup (Which took HOURS of messing around and checking for on-line solutions!), I called ACER support. They informed me the laptop is ONLY to be used AS DELIVERED! No external DVD boot, or USB boot, which I require for Dual-Boot capabilities, (Windows and Linux) which I have required and had for at least 15 years. WORTHLESS!

Bought this at a good price for its features. It was pretty good before but now runs very quickly after adding 8gb of ram ($20). An simple upgrade with many easy to follow videos on youtube on how to do it. Great screen, decent sound, very lightweight. The keyboard is a little weird because it is offset because of the number keys added. Touchpad is uber sensitive, even on its lowest setting. Took a while to not be accidentally clicking on the wrong things. Battery life isnt too bad, about 6 hours continuous use before recharging. Very pleased with my purchase.

Easy to set-up and the I7, 1165G7 is one fast processor. I ordered 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. Its everything I expected and more. The screen is 1080 Full HD and IPS for crisp, clear pictures and video. Its worth every penny if your looking for a state of the art laptop these days! I do recommend this ACER Aspire 5 A515-56-702V laptop.

This is a budget laptop the one I received sound didnt work out the box. After visiting the acer site it required a bios update to fix.

Amazing price at SGD$336 including shipping during Black Friday Sales. No GST charged. Good specifications such as i3. This laptop has extra Sata and Ram slots, easy to open casing for installation of HDD/SSD and Ram upgrades. Keyboard is not lighted. Casing a bit filmsy.

It does what I need it to do.

On the second day of use it started problematic charging. When charger was plugged in it kept charging for 5 minutes and then automatically stopped charging. It started charging again after unplugging and plugging again, but only for 5 more minutes. The laptop kept doing over and over again, just wont fully charge. Just didnt seem to be a trait of a brand new laptop. Wont recommend this seller.

Bought this item for my father and he loved it. Could not beat the price for this laptop its a great value. The HD storage space and speed is a plus. Screen size and look is crisp and very light weight and sleek, thumbs up indeed.
