> 3 dayLove it so far and no issues to speak of. It’s just for personal use, not for gaming or work. M on it a few times a week for internet, photos, files etc. My only complaint is I can’t install our home printer or scanner because they aren’t a Microsoft product. You can change it out of S mode and install whatever you want but that will eliminate safety and security features. You can’t switch it back either.

Greater than one weekI had an Acer for 7 years (yes you read that correctly), no issues. I’ve had Dell and HP, and since Acer lived the longest I opted to buy the same brand. Setup was super easy. Unfortunately the rest was not. The batter won’t charge after the initial charge. This might be a faulty power cord, but getting one through Acer will take 5/7 business days. So now I have no laptop for over a week. To initiate the request I received an email - which was confusing, as I thought giving all my details to the CSA on the phone and him confirming it would be sent out was all I needed to do. He did say it needed to be registered…..I did that online when I set it up…but ok. Of course, the email link I was sent, when I click on it and begin to enter my details, immediately reverts back to the start before I finish. Every. Single. Time.

> 3 dayBought this computer to replace my chromebook because of technical issues during zoom meetings. Im pleased to say that this laptop has the features needed for doing zoom meetings, for example, it gives you the links for interpretation and so forth...whereas the chromebook didnt offer that. The Acer 1080 also is great for accomplishing coding projects, especially for my sons zoom class.

> 3 dayThis laptop has everything we need for home and our small business. The easy of using your fingerprint to log is great. No more trying to remember passwords.

Greater than one weekI bought this Acer to replace an older Chromebook I bought 5 years ago. This is quite an upgrade from my previous model (also an Acer). The 14 screen is a great improvement over my smaller 11 screen and having a full keyboard is really helpful, I especially like the lighted keyboard. So far, the system was very easy to set up and everything is working well. This is a good looking and good performing machine for the price.
