This would definitely hold up a monitor and more. It’s also nice to have extra space underneath to put more things in.

It is quite heavy, which I like because it doesnt move easily on my glass desk. I have had it for over 2 months and there are still no scratch on it. Loved it so much that I purchased another one for my second monitor. Very happy with this purchase.
