The 12x12x1/8 works very well for my purpose. I do a lot of reading & make notes & highlighting in paperback & hardback books. Ive been using a 9x12 clipboard back to rest books on my lap to make it easier to do this. I finally realized that the 9 width wasnt enough, so got this 12x12 aluminum plate. It really works very well for me. It would have been appreciated if the manufacturer had removed some of the sharp edges, yet it was very easy to do this with a file. Now I can run my fingers along all edges and feel nothing sharp.

was in a shrink warp plastic film, was debar, edges were sharp, surface had imperfections unable to clean out, corners are sharp also, was able to use it for what I ordered. not like the picture you see.

Nice clean piece of metal with protective plastic on both sides. Just watch out for the metric sizing and you should be happy with it.

Pretty sure I got a sheet of 1/8th instead of 1/16th... unfortunately it won’t work for my purposes and it’s not worth messing with returning it, so I’ll have to order another and spend twice as much as I though. I’ll end up using it for something, but it’s a little disappointing. Other than that it seems to be of decent quality, but getting more than you paid for isn’t always a good thing.

Used to fab a mount for an electric switch that’s tucked away in my truck for some LED bars. It does the job just fine.

Its a metric plate 300x300x3mm which is smaller that 12x12x1/8 on every dimension so if it matters to your project get something else

I am totally satisfied with this aluminum board. The finish was very good, as well as the packaging, and it is thick and rigid, perfect for my application. Good purchase for the price!
