I bought this for a Craftsman CMEW231, but it did not fit. But does fit my SKIL 7492.

I have a skill brand orbital sander. I let some landscape guys borrow it who clearly know nothing about using an orbital sander. They did one job with it and shredded the edges of the pad because they were sanding the work piece with just the edge of the sanding pad instead of holding the sander flat as it was intended to be used. So I bought this for a replacement because I couldnt find the exact skill replacement. This does not fit a skill sander out of the box. However, I drilled out the middle mounting hole to 1-1/4 with a drill press and that worked perfectly. Took all of 5 seconds with a hole saw with the center drill bit removed. Just fyi for anyone else reading this

It needs 4 extra alignment holes, see photos. good quality and I like that the dust holes are larger than OEM.

I checked the bolt pattern on the old sander, then bought this one. It works well! Now Im not throwing sanding discs around the garage when I lift the sander.

I bought this item as a replacement sanding pad for an RS241 Ryobi orbital sander. It doesnt fit that model. The mounting holes did not line up correctly. I am happy there were no issues with returning the item for credit.

Wow! Saved a bunch of money taking a chance on this and it worked perfectly! I have a skil sander from Lowe’s and a replacement for the name would’ve cost 3x as much as this one. Thank you seller!

Initially it appeared to work fine, the small hook pattern held well. Then after about a dozen uses, it didnt hold the sanding disc very well and then not at all. All of the little hooks are shot. Dont recommend buying it, get one with larger hooks and heavier duty.
