How can I tell the front from back? Last filter was marked with an arrow. This one is not marked.

I have a very sensitive nose. However, these had a smell when they were in the purifier that made it smell like burning plastic. I switched back to the winix brand and the smell disappeared. Sadly i was past the return window, so now i have a bunch of garbage

Got my new filters today and went to install the hepa filter. Took out the original filter that came with our unit and it showed the air flow direction on the filter. When putting the new filter in the unit, it did not say which way for the air flow. Checked all 4 sides and none shown. Other than that it fits just right and well see how it does in time.

A good value; fits the Winix C545 purifier just like OEM. I liked that there is an option to just purchase the filters and not charcoal filters as I dont really care for those.
