Purchased this product to remove paint from a fireplace mantel that has fluted columns and decorative ornate wood work. Does a fair job on flat surface to clean the wood or remove very small semi loss particles of paint. If you are expecting this to actually remove the paint as a sanding pad or wire brush would, it does not. I would not recommend the purchase of this item if the intent is to remove paint.

It’s not clear from the listing that there’s another piece you need to make this work. I assumed you could put this product in a drill but you can’t, you need a separately purchased mandrel to use it. The pictures only show the front so you can’t see that you need extra hardware. I was all ready to go and when I needed to use this product I couldn’t.

Bought this for my brother to remove his gasket that was stuck on his truck he said he really liked because it removed it with no hesitation

I was hesitant to buy these, never having tried them, but they work great. My unseated workspaces mean I clean up a lot of rust and these mean I don’t always have to totally refrained everything with various grits of flap wheel.

Great for irregular surface sanding.

Works well, but doesnt last very long and is very expensive. The bristles really get into cavities and ridges. I bought one to try it out and it lasted about 15 minutes of use.

Worked well prepping surfaces for gaskets

The price is daunting on these to be honest. As a service manager for a repair shop, I had never used bristle discs before but they just work. For areas of sensitive metals that cant be grinding down, this is great to remove RTV and gaskets without damaging the metal. It lasts a decent while as well. Dont be afraid of the price, it could save you an engine

Maybe because I ordered the green wheel expecting it to remove paper gasket material when rebuilding a transmission but this thing on a hand wiz wheel did absolutely nothing to remove the gasket it might make a fine polisher but it did not work for me
