> 3 dayI have used these kind of brushes for years. Lately, the prices for these locally have been outrageous. Good to find these. Quality is fine for intended use. Thanks much.

> 3 dayI was hesitant on buying these as the last set I bought from another supplier that looked just like these were cheap and very poorly made. These on the other hand are of very good quality and last a long time, the handles will break if you bear down on the work but come on they are like .50 a piece so use common sense. We use these to clean parts in the parts washer and they last a couple of weeks when used gently to scrub parts, Pre-soak the parts if they are heavily crapped up and you will find the grime comes rite off with out mushrooming the brush in the process.

> 3 dayNot sure if they are actually brass?? Appear to be gold-ish colored steel. They work okay, but the bristles bend flat a lot quicker than some of the real brass brushes I have. For the price and quantity they are worth it. If you are buying them as softer than steel brass bristle brushed, Id keep looking.

> 3 dayThese brushes have about half the number of bristles that a decent brush has. As a result, they are completely useless in just a couple of minutes of brushing. They have no stiffness due to the lack of bristles and therefore bend over and are shot in nothing flat. Complete waste of money

> 3 dayI use these for tig welding alum. They will scrape the oxide layer off, kind of, but they are a little on the soft side. I knew that going in so cant fault the seller on that. Price is ok and shipping was really fast, wow. The design of the brush is great just wish they would put bristles in about .005 thicker, but I cant find this design with stouter bristles. Any more expensive and I would have bought the wooden handle ones and shaped them quickly on my belt sander. I bought four boxes as Ive had these before, just have to be a little gentle with them.

Greater than one weekWorks great for TIG welding prep. The bristles are stiff enough to clean efficiently and last a long time. Reviewers who complained about the handles breaking are probably expecting their brushes to do things for which they were not intended, like removing heavy rust scale or other stubborn debris. Its possible to break the handle but you have to work at it.
