I had a huge crash (breaking my collar bone and requiring surgical repair) the day after installing this screen protector. In that crash, my Garmin completely dislodged from the bike and took a beating in a rock garden. The screen protector became thoroughly destructed but protected the Garmin screen perfectly; hopefully the photos I included show this well. Fingerprints are very noticeable and even the slightest touch leaves oil on it. It installed pretty easily though and was cheap for 3. Not what I was looking for though. You cant have oil smeared all over a screen in the sun at such an oblique angle.

I bought a set of these 9H screen protector (another vendor) for my Garmin Edge 830 a couple of years back. The claim is that it is ballistic 9H tempered glass. However, Ive turned over my bike numerous times on the side of the trails and noticed scratches on the glass immediately afterwards - these scratches are created by branches or bushes! It got to a point where I cant see part of the screen due to massive scratches and reflection.

You need 3 things. Clear, responsive, durable. Checks all. No glare, fingers work, survived direct ground collision.

Fits well, I’ve had my flimsy plastic screen protector that mine came with on for fear of scratching my display, and now I don’t have to worry as much with a nice layer of glass. The application went smooth and the adhesion is good. It hasn’t impacted the touch sensitivity as I can tell and there isn’t too bad of a glare in the sun. Overall good and would recommend
