We have a 3700 Square Foot House and a powerful router, but the basement gets poor reception on the edges so sometimes we get a signal and sometimes we dont. I had an extra router and set that up but its a different network so my phone would automatically switch from one network to the other in the house depending on where I was.I have a Sonos Streaming system and in order to control the different zones, I need to be on the same network. I wasnt sure if this would work for that or not but thought I would give it a try. The set-up was done by connecting this via hardline to my router (I had to supply this cable as it is not included). I then went to a website to set everything up and the network is named the same as my existing network with the same password but with an _EXT at the end of it. I wasnt sure this would work for my Sonos system as the network wasnt exactly the same name-but Voila! It works like a charm. Now I have NO dead spots and strong signals with fast speeds across my entire house. I stream Netflix off of this signal and whatever else.The item took me about 15-20 minutes to set up and now looks plugged in to the wall just like this picture. This is an awesome value. Stop dealing with dead spots in your house and just get this to extend your network and have strong signals everywhere. Bravo!

It was easy to hook up. Once I got it to going my WiFi picked through out the house. Great and very in expensive way to improve your WiFi signal.

Haber mal ein Kabel in einer anderen Farbe gesucht und hier gefunden. Funktionieren tut es wie es soll und wirkt qualitativ hochwertig.

Ive been using this product for about a month now and it has worked flawlessly every single day! My router is located downstairs, on the other end of my house. My wifi used to barely reach my room. After 3 minutes of setup, I have great internet! Did a speed test to compare speeds. The first test (5.74 Mbps Download Speed) was without the extender. The second test (16.74 Mbps) was with the extender. It nearly tripled my speed! Very happy with the product. Well worth the cost. Only wish I wouldve purchased it sooner.

The set up was easy and the direction wasnt hard to understand. now my cell phone Skype it works perfectly fine with the WiFi extender.

Was genau erwartet man von einem Netzwerkkabel.... Es soll gut verarbeitet sein und ohne Verluste meine Daten von Gerät A zu Gerät B übertragen. Genau das tut das Kabel nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Es sieht gut aus, ist wertig verarbeitet, beide Stecker sitzen gut in den entsprechenden Buchsen und die Verbindung ist stabil und schnell. Von daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Excellent product! I had a dead area in one side of my 2400 square-foot house, separated by walls, ect.Heres the low down:Read the directions! Then, plug it into the wall next to/near your router to start. For best results, name the extender something different from your wifi and give it a separate password. After it connects and has a name, plug the extender into an outlet in the dead spot. Done! Took me 10 minutes max.Note: You will now have 2 different wifi log-in/connections in your house you will need to use your original wifi in the areas where you had a good connection before. I dont mind options, some people may not like that though.

I have been trying to extend wifi from one building to another one located up a steep slope of solid rock a couple of hundred feet away for a long time (In a rural mountain range) Bought this device and followed the easy to use instructions to sync with my router via WPS. Easy. Then I moved the device to the next building, first trying an outdoor outlet, then moving to an indoor outlet that faced the router downhill. Success! I got a green light and 3-4 bars of wifi connectivity on a Sony Blueray DVD/ streaming device (about 5 years old). Network connected to the EXT2G and used the same password from the router setup. I was streaming Netflix perfectly! And listening to Pandora as I walked from one building to another (even though I have absolutely no cell phone service at all), wifi connectivity to my Iphone was perfect.Could not have been easier to set up.I noticed the router signal went red during a rain storm so I just ran the setup again. No problem.I did try to connnect a 3rd building downhill from from my router but was not successful. This was about 600 ft and the router was not able to be moved to give a more direct signal.
