> 3 dayWe have a 3700 Square Foot House and a powerful router, but the basement gets poor reception on the edges so sometimes we get a signal and sometimes we dont. I had an extra router and set that up but its a different network so my phone would automatically switch from one network to the other in the house depending on where I was.I have a Sonos Streaming system and in order to control the different zones, I need to be on the same network. I wasnt sure if this would work for that or not but thought I would give it a try. The set-up was done by connecting this via hardline to my router (I had to supply this cable as it is not included). I then went to a website to set everything up and the network is named the same as my existing network with the same password but with an _EXT at the end of it. I wasnt sure this would work for my Sonos system as the network wasnt exactly the same name-but Voila! It works like a charm. Now I have NO dead spots and strong signals with fast speeds across my entire house. I stream Netflix off of this signal and whatever else. The item took me about 15-20 minutes to set up and now looks plugged in to the wall just like this picture. This is an awesome value. Stop dealing with dead spots in your house and just get this to extend your network and have strong signals everywhere. Bravo!

> 3 dayIn Extender mode it allows you to use the ethernet port for devices that dont support WiFi. It also has the ability to be a full Access Point. This would be great for travel or as a backup but I wouldnt use it for normal operation.

> 3 dayI needed to get relay from the equipment in the cellar to the top (third) floor - set up the unit on the first floor and it works very well. Very easy to do.

> 3 dayRaised the number of wi-fi bars on my computer from 2 to 6. Works well. One note: instructions did not note that you must re-select the new home network....it just adds an extension to your existing home networks name. It works! . It turned a back guest room with no service into a place with streaming video. Thats all I ever wanted from this. Good job!

> 3 dayI have 3 extenders to cover my entire home including home based office, second floor bedroom, attached garage and a basement workshop. Together they provide seamless and easily managed coverage. After over a year in use Ive had no problems, The website is easy to use and the set-up instructions are clear and easy to follow.

> 3 dayIm giving it 5-stars even though one-touch setup didnt work for me. You are supposed to be able to do push the center button on this extender and another on the router and it will resolve the wifi connection for you. After about 2 weeks, my 1 year old stopped being fascinated with the blue color and has left it alone. A simple unplug and plug back in resolved the issue. Pretty minor problem really.

> 3 dayMy router is in the living room and wifi would be super spotty in the bedroom but with this range extender it is working very great . Setup was very pretty easy. Well see how it goes. pretty easy setup and works great. According to a speed test, quadrupled the download speed, and it seems it. Was getting drops and erratic wifi from the existing router. This unit is halfway between the two and after two months, hasnt dropped yet.

> 3 dayVery easy setup, even despite my router not having the WPS button. Its been running smoothly ever since and we now happily have wifi out on our backyard patio (device located safely indoors of course).
