> 24 hourI bought this machine after seeing how many great reviews it had for its hardware and running most games. My only complaint is the stock speakers are very far from what I expected. I have to blare the volume at full blast to hear most things in a quiet environment, to hear games and basic youtube videos. I played with the sound settings and still had not much of a change. I went to just using a headset to bypass the stock speakers. Disappointed especially since this machine is not cheap to say the least.

> 24 hourI got this HP laptop due to my old one was just getting out dated. I got an HP because Im comfortable with them and didnt need to learn new quirks. I dont play a lot of games but this laptop does a nice job when I do. It has speed and versatility to get all tasks handled well for average users. Very easy to set up. It didnt come loaded with much bloatware. It looks good and the screen looks great. I may upgrade to 12 or 16 GB of RAM which looks to be easy. I love the lighted keypad, although I had to go into Bios and extend the timeout. The battery is probably the biggest issue with this laptop,[and probably most HPs], it just doesnt last very long. I even took pains to break it in per HPs suggestions, but still lacking. However I usually keep it plugged in so its not an issue for me. Just be aware. All in all a nice, easy to use general use and light gaming laptop. Not inexpensive but serious gamers should probably look higher. For me it does well.

> 24 hourHad it for 7 months now had a lot of problems, one Ive had hard drive issues and two, If your buying this expecting to have a gaming machine that plays games at 60FPS on medium settings well your gonna be disappointed. Can’t even run BF1 a game from 2016 at 60FPS on medium settings without constant stutters. Tried playing Assassins Creed Black flag from 2013 constant stutters even on very low settings. Just really not worth your money. If your really on a budget and you want a gaming rig just buy a desktop seriously. And if you really need a laptop for gaming just save up a couple hundred extra bucks and get one with a RTX 2060 or something trust me your gonna be glad you did.

> 24 hourIve had this up and running for a couple months, now, and Im very happy with it. I wanted something I could use with the Quest 2 VR headset without breaking the bank, and this has worked out perfectly. Runs about 90+ percent of games on Oculus and Steam VR according to performance tests. Worked seamlessly with the Anker USB C cable. I havent had a single hiccup of any kind with normal daily use and with VR. It comes loaded with HPs software for maintenance, driver updates, and warranty registration that really makes the whole process painless. The lighted keyboard has been very helpful. I highly recommend this laptop.

> 24 hourA good laptop for gaming, but there are some games it has problems with and winds up having to restart again and again.

> 24 hourI honestly bought this for runescape but ive gotten into playing most games id play on console and then some on steam. I havent had trouble running anything not even my quest headset in pcvr with boneworks. The processor isnt recommended for boneworks but still works. This computer is a g in my book. I love it. Battrry sucks though lol.
