> 24 hourI bought this as a work laptop; I use it mainly for Sketchup, AutoCad and Vray Architectural design. I needed a portable, yet powerful laptop that could do everything as i travel too much for a desktop. I have also used it for light gaming, just to compare to my previous laptops & computers. Ill start with- yes, its powerful (but no, i dont know the technical ins and outs so ill keep this simple). It deals well with the softwares high-processing needs and can cope with large, detailed models. It renders VERY quickly (Almost 10x faster than my previous laptop, a Lenovo Yoga2) and is generally a very reasonable computer for what i require. It starts up really quickly- the finger print sign-in being a nice touch. Im pretty glad of this though, as i do tend to restart this laptop more frequently than id expected to; when its in high-use it will often stop responding and only return to life once re-started. I also like the touch-screen addition, although i dont use it as much as i thought id be tempted to, nor is it accurate enough to use for presentations, so perhaps just an expensive luxury i thought id like. Maybe when modeling software integrates touch-screen into the workflow it will become more useful. On build quality: I love the feel of the keyboard and the touch pad and the whole material finish screams sleek and professional. The screen is HUGE for the size of the laptop, however coming from the Lenovo Yoga2 with a 4k screen, the resolution is pretty average and the colours come out feeling dull. The graphics card does make up for this though, allowing me to finally enjoy the beauty that is Cities: Skylines (wow, thats a stunning game). Unfortunately, and i wonder if this is just a fault with my machine, the speakers are pretty crackly, leaving the sound quality poor. Plug in headphones are the only way forward. Fortunately, Im not going to be watching movies on it any time soon. Battery life with heavy use is also kinda average, id say maybe 4 to 5 hours. This isnt much of an issue for me, however, as if im sitting at a computer a powder socket isnt far away. Overall, its a great laptop. I dont think its worth the price tag though, and im glad ive got a second one for general day-to-day. This is a workstation with some unnecessary perks that give an illusion its a versatile machine. Maybe i have been spoiled over the years with some great laptop choices, but if youre looking at this review its pretty likely you have been too.

> 24 hourProbably the best laptop Ive ever owned. Came exactly as described, with Windows 10 Pro. This machine is solid, super fast, amazing screen, and its a work horse. My one complaint is the camera, its in a horrible location. People are either looking up your nose, or watching your fingers type. For me, I dont use the camera, so it is a non-issue. I would highly recommend this machine for editing video and designing graphics.

> 24 hourIm going to start with what I did NOT like about the laptop, which I bought a month ago in the Microsoft Store. -The first and most important is the keyboard, there are keys that do not work like the others, they do not have the same level of sensitivity. Many times you have to press them hard and right in the center to make them work. There are people who took the trouble to record it and upload it to YouTube. Normally those who bought this notebook have to be correcting what they write. Additionally when you stop using the keyboard for 30> minutes, in my case two B and Space keys. They stop working properly and I have to press them repeatedly and quickly until they work again. I write this after Dell launched the update where they correct a skipping problem with the keys, when the laptop just woke up. The point is that this did not solve my problem with the keyboard. -I do not care about the position of the camera, in fact the fingers look very little when you write. What really matters to me is that the camera has violet and red lines as interference, especially when you do not have a strong light. -Something I did not know existed until I used this notebook. It is known as Coil Wine, it is a noise (electric buzzing). close to the E - R - T keys. Many people have asked me why this laptop has that noise? What if it is not damaged? I plan to send it to support, but they tell me its about 20 days. The good -The battery life is excellent, lets say it lasts about 4 hours, in my case Im a developer and there are programs that are a bit heavy and I never use it in energy saving mode. If you choose an intermediate configuration of energy it will last much longer than 4 hours. -The quality of the materials is very good, the best is the 4k display. and also has much more brightness than other laptops. -The tactile is good too. -I like the sound, they improved it with an update. -The mouse is great, at the level of the macbooks.

> 24 hourIt worked well and I loved it for 3 months and then out of nowhere it started crashing with hard drive not installed errors. Also constantly deadlocked/completely froze when trying to fix, requiring it to be forced to shutdown by holding the power. Eventually, I could not restart it and it gave light signals indicating a problem with the CPU. Complete waste of money. The price for the hardware was the selling point, but it was too good to be true.

> 24 hourAfter 6 months the motherboard died on my laptop. Dell replaced and less than a week later it is back to being a brick. Not exactly what I would expect from a $2500 laptop.

> 24 hourThis is an excellent laptop. In this configuration, the computer is very fast. The Processor breezes through the most demanding applications, the large amount of RAM is ideal for ever more intensive applications, the GPU can handle the latest games on high settings and will give future proofing for the coming years. The SSD gives a hard drive which is fast and efficient. The star of the show is the 4k touchscreen! This screen is amazing; beautifully bright with a rich and vibrant color display. Comparing my screen to an older laptop is like night and day; no washed out colors on this laptop. I am seeing new colors in websites and applications which I have never seen on my old laptop. The touch screen is also responsive. This computer is the perfect configuration for someone who wants a computer that can do everything good. It can do the basic like browsing and office work, it can do photo and video editing, it can play the latest PC games on decent settings. If you are a professional who needs a good computer to do work, but dont want the teenager-esqe Alienware for gaming, this is the computer for you. This is by far the best laptop I have ever purchased.

> 24 hourDells XPS 15 is a performance laptop aimed at those who need top-of-the line performance while on the go. When choosing a computer for work or college, it is essential to consider screen quality, performance, and build quality. As an experienced laptop user who has experience with multiple brands, I can attest that a device that performs well in all of these categories will result in an excellent experience for the user. The Dell XPS 15 rates highly in each of these categories and is a great choice for any user. Criteria 1: Screen Quality The XPS 15 has a 4k IPS touch-screen with 100% sRGB and InfinityEdge bezeling. The IPS screen displays brighter colors than other panels, and 100% sRGB ensures accurate color reproduction. This makes the Dell a great option if you are doing graphic design or any tasks that require color accuracy. The 4k screen resolution allows you to see text more clearly making the XPS perfect for multitasking. To deliver a 4k resolution in a laptop, the Dell must have impressive performance. Criteria 2: Performance With a top of the line Intel 8th Generation processor and GTX 1050ti graphics, the Dell can handle anything from video rendering to gaming. 16GB of DDR4 RAM coupled with the 8th generation processor allows you to heavily multitask. The graphics card powers the high-resolution screen with very little power consumption, increasing battery life. The XPS 15 packs a 512gb PCIe Solid State Drive allowing for quicker file access and faster reboots, which is necessary for a laptop because you will be turning it off more frequently than a desktop. Criteria 3: Build Quality The build quality of the XPS 15 is top notch. The bezels of the XPS are so thin that it may look fragile, but aluminum and textured plastic give you a sturdy, premium feel. It has seen multiple years of heavy use and a few small drops without an issue. The sides of the computer include all standard ports allowing you to connect to any device easily. Often overlooked, keyboard quality has a tremendous impact on your laptop experience. The XPS has a comfortable standard layout keyboard, with accurate key registration and a very responsive feel while typing. In multiple years, I have had no issue with the keyboard and eventually began to prefer it to typing on my home PC.

> 24 hourThe computer itself and its internals works. V Good 4k monitor. However it is totally unusable without a separate mouse and keyboard and if I have access to those I will use my gaming PC with its twin 27 4K Dell monitors. The keyboard and trackpad are simply unusable. Nontravel on the keys and thentrackpadsimplyn doesnt work. It took meb10 minutesntontgryahdntypenthisnsentence. If this is what you want your emails to look like buy this computer.
