This is a nice , thin, flexible mesh. Easily cut to shape with regular scissors.

Why buy this cheap thing with a toxic smell? Why would anyone sell something to Americans with such a toxic smell on screening? Spend the extra bucks. Toxic garbage!

I bought it for several reasons and have to say that I am super disappointed, first I thought a nice deal, but now I have to deal with Rust. I will be sending it back.

I bought this screen to filter gasoline going into the sediment bowl of my 1951 Farmall Super C tractor. The original factory screen was either 60 or 80 mesh, which allowed particles large enough to get through and clog the inline screen at the carburetor. This 120 mesh screen still allows gasoline to flow freely, so I probably could have gone finer than 120, but only time will tell how quickly this screen will clog with particles and need cleaning. It is very easy to mark this screen with a fine tipped marker, and very easy to cut with scissors or an X-acto knife. I cut my outside diameters with scissors, and the inside diameters with an X-acto knife. You do get two rolls – they are rolled together, so until you unroll them you may think you only received one roll. They come well packaged and in perfect condition. I’m thrilled with this purchase, as now I will always have sediment bowl screens available without having to special order them.

I was told that different colored neocaridina shrimp couldnt live together because of interbreeding between the colors leading to wild-type colorless offspring, so wanted to make an aquarium that could prove that wrong. My aquarium needed different sections that were separated by a mesh that could be submerged and was fine enough that water could go through, but the tiny shrimp babies could not. This seemed like the perfect product. (Had to change order due to the pictures order changing upon submitting) Picture 1 - Shows where the stainless steel mesh was placed to create the sections. Picture 6 - The finished aquarium set-up. Picture 5 - The aquarium now all grown in. At this point there was little rust showing, and it looked like normal detritus debris (I didnt think it could be rust since I had bought stainless steel mesh...) Picture 3 - The first spread of rust along the top of the aquarium. Picture 2&4 - The stainless steel having rusted completely through, poisoning the water, and killing all 8 of the colored shrimp group inhabitants. This aquarium was housing hundreds of dollars worth of plants and animals (plus the time it took to create it myself)... all of which died (including the plants) due to the seller not being honest in their product description. Stainless steel doesnt rust.

I breed superworms, mealworms, Dubia roaches and red runners as food for my pets. Some bugs can chew through fiberglass or plastic screen. By cutting holes in the lids and hot gluing in pieces of this mesh, it allows for ventilation and even keeps unwanted guests out such as gnats and mites which could get through regular screen material. Its easy to cut with scissors too.
